Canning Green Hub
Year 3 Semester 2 Final Project
This is my Year 3 final project which features the Canning Green Hub, a building meant to allow users to relax and do sports within the most optimised space and environment.
​
It is a building encased with greenery and plants to blend into the surroundings with Fort Canning Park. Most importantly, this improves the passive climate circulating around the building.
Primer Project
Year 3 Semester 2 Primer Project
For this primer project, I had to go to Fort Canning to select a space suitable for my design idea. I chosen the field within Maritime Corner as it is surrounded by iconic landmarks that will attract people. I have created a cooped up space for users to refresh themselves while going through Fort Canning and having a space to enjoy the scenic view ahead of them.
Canning Green Hub
Year 3 Semester 1 Final Project
The Canning Green Hub focus on providing a conducive and optimised space for the users to learn, play and heal. With three different levels which focus on different aspects for the individual to enjoy their time. Sports such as rock climbing, 3x3 basketball are available on the first floor and many more programmes for the user to partake in. Classes are available on the second floor for them to learn new skills and even a library on the third floor where they can read and enjoy the beautiful view ahead of them! As my chosen client was SportSG, I focused on creating spaces where they can partake in physical activities and not just sports to get their bodies moving.

In addition, as they go up the building they can go for sports therapy after exercising to help them relax and heal or go to the outdoor gardens to breath in the fresh air from the area. Moreover, louvers are incorporated to the building to maximise the air circulation around the building. Lots of greenery are also added to create the best environment to do sports in improve the passive climate of the space.
Fort Canning Park
Year 3 Group Project
Due to the pandemic, we were given the task to do our site analysis via the means of the internet. My group and I were tasked to do research on Sub-Division 5, which was part of the museum-planning area. With enough research, we have managed to analyse the site and found detailed information for what we are going to implement on site in Fort Canning Park. Here is a video we created, enjoy!
Sasegeru
Year 3 Primer Project
A project where I have to design based on the verb "Dedicate".The site was a Utopia site allocated to us where we were each given our own plots. I chose to focus on the meditative aspects that incorporates wood and concrete to the design of the building. It creates a minimalist feel with inspirations of Japanese architecture.
Boat Quay
Year 2 Final Project
We were tasked to design a hotel for our site in Boat Quay. First and foremost, we did our site analysis in our own groups that aided us in our final design of our hotel. We interviewed tourists, office workers and different types of users that were in the area and gathered information through online and on-site researches.

With that so, we came up with our individual designs with our own themes and our target audiences. Therefore, I came up with this hotel that focused on giving young couples a therapeutic experience through their hotel rooms and spas. To take them away from the stress and woes of their daily lives and bring them a relaxing experience.

Pulau Ubin
Year 2 Project
We were assigned groups to analyse Pulau Ubin and find a site area where we want to build our creation. We went through the analyse and went there to do on-site research and surveys. In addition, we created a co-creation game (Our Garden Dream) to allow our co-creative to be more innovative and interesting to the people that we are interviewing.

With that so, we were tasked to design a community centre for Pulau Ubin that would attract users on the Mainland to come to this island. I designed a community centre that incorporated an art gallery that would hopefully attract art fanatics etc. Thus, making this stand out with having art works unique to Pulau Ubin.
